Meet Angela Nicole

Angela Nicole is passionate about resolving conflict. She believes resolving personal conflict leads to resolving family conflict: which leads to resolving community conflict. Why? Resolving conflict restores peace. In these times of inescapable stress, anger, and our own community’s prevailing emotional turmoil ---how do you keep that most precious peace in your heart and in your relationships?

No long and expensive therapy sessions which struggle to yield practical instruction or pragmatic results.

Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology- focusing on Human Development and Master of Art in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding. Notably, she paid for her own education while she worked full time. For 33 years she used her creative talents as a professional hairstylist and her business acumen to build her own styling business.

As she established her career specialty of addressing family conflict, she volunteered in women’s homeless shelters, addiction programs, churches, and group homes where she practiced building interpersonal communication skills and mastered constructive conflict resolution methods.

As a result, Angela founded Devoted Family Community. A non-profit dedicated to building strong families and safe communities. Angela is a licensed minister, a mom, big sister, gammy, and auntie. She has a heart of compassion and is an overall joy to be around.

Through her DFCLA nonprofit she offers stress management workshops along with mediation.
